Endings

Dark Souls III has three endings, one of which has an alternative variation. The endings are influenced by several choices the player makes throughout the playthrough, which are as follows:

• Doing the Lord of Hollows Questline
• Giving the Eyes of a Fire Keeper to the Fire Keeper in Firelink Shrine (Note that if the player changes their mind, killing the Firekeeper respawns her without the eyes, reverting her back to normal)
• Answering to the Fire Keeper's question whether the player wishes for an Age of Dark or not

Notes

• If the Fire Keeper has the eyes, she can be summoned for the Dark ending
• Killing the Fire Keeper after she has spoken with the flame in her hands triggers an alternative ending

	To Link the First Flame	Like countless times before, the First Flame is linked, however weak the Flame appears to be.

	The End of Fire	The Ashen One calls upon the Fire Keeper, who quietly tends to the flame while it fades and only darkness remains.

Requirements The Fire Keeper to be given the Eyes of a Fire Keeper and telling her that the player wishes for an end to linking the Fire Summoning the Fire Keeper after the Soul of Cinder fight and letting her hold the flame while it fades
Ending Dialogue + Show Dialogue "Talk" command for the first time after giving the Fire Keeper the Eyes of a Fire Keeper Ashen one, my thanks for the eyes thou'st given… but Fire Keepers are not meant to have eyes. It is forbidden. These will reveal, through a sliver of light, frightfull images of betrayal. A world without fire. Ashen one, is this truly thy wish? Choosing "Wish for a world without Flame": Of course. I serve thee, and will do as thou bid'st. This will be our private affair. No one else may know of this. Stay thy path, find lords to link the fire, and i will blindly tend to the flame. Until the day of thy grand betrayal. After the Lords of Cinder have met their thrones and she does have the Eyes of a Fire Keeper, in Firelink Shrine The five lords sit their five thrones. All thanks to thee, most worthy of lords. Ashen One, with the Lords as thy witness, bend thy knee afore the bonfire's coiled sword. And let the Lords' embers acknowledge thee as their true heir. A true lord, fit to link the fire. After kneeling at the bonfire in Firelink Shrine and if she has the Eyes of a Fire Keeper Noble Lords of Cinder. The fire fades… …and the lords go without thrones. Surrender your fires… …to the true heir. Let him grant death… To the gods of Lordran, deliverers of the First Flame. After calling the Fire Keeper for the Dark Ending The First Flame quickly fades. Darkness will shortly settle. But one day, tiny flames will dance across the darkness. Like embers, linked by lords past. Ashen One, hearest thou my voice, still?

Requirements As above, but killing the Fire Keeper before the Fire completely fades
Ending Dialogue + Show Dialogue Nameless, accursed Undead Unfit even to be cinder. And so it is… …that ash seeketh embers.
	The Usurpation of Fire	The Ashen One, now Lord of the Undead rises and rules over the Undead
