Two uniques Elder Ghrus circle a Poison Gem in the swamp. Each of them will drop Black Bow of Pharis and Pharis's Hat, respectively, when killed for the first time.
I ignore these enemies until I have the pyromancy chaos fireball or have a +6 pyromancer flame & fire orb. They are easier to kill when alone and in a wide area devoid of other enemies, can also be tricked into killing themselves by kiting them around one of the hazardous fire located in the swamp.
