Location

Undead Settlement

• Three Hound-rats wander the sewers before the bridge leading to the Giant's tower, the same sewers by the Dilapidated Bridge Bonfire.
• Two Hound-rats near the Large Hound-rat in the same sewers.
• Seven Hound-rats inside the room with the Saint's Talisman before Irina of Carim, reached by using the Grave Key in the sewers, falling by the bridge outside the sewers, or falling by Eygon of Carim.

Catacombs of Carthus

• Three Hound-rats down the staircase by the Catacombs of Carthus Bonfire. Often killed by the second Skeleton Ball nearby.
• Hound-rat by the Large Hound-rat past the above.
• Hound-rat before the Skeleton Wheels by the above.

Smouldering Lake

• Hound-rat in a hallway in the large room below the Demon Ruins Bonfire, in the side doorway opposite the side of the Undead Bone Shard.
• Three Hound-rats in a room past the first side exit of the hallway.
• Hound-rat before a pit leading to lava past the room above.
• Six Hound-rats beyond a Large Hound-rat found down a staircase near the above, or reached through a pit near the large room.

Irithyll Dungeon

• Three Hound-rats in the sewers past the Giant Slave.
• Four more Hound-rats pop out of a side cave in those sewers.
• Infinitely spawning Hound-rats around the legs of the Giant Slave.

Moveset

• Swipe: Rises up and turns before swiping.
• Bite: Rises up and opens their mouth before biting.
• Headbutt: When closing distance, quickly headbutts.
• Jump Attack: Rises up before jumping and biting.

Notes

• Susceptible to Alluring Skulls, but not Rapport.
