Lore
More a sad commentary on the state of undead existence than actual foe, Praying Hollow Soldiers appear along the walls of Lothric and in a few other places throughout the land.

Location
- Scattered throughout the first half of the level praying, and will not attack unless provoked. Curls up if combat is engaged near them.
- Naked soldier praying up the stairs down the path opposite the bonfire transforms into a Pus of Man.
- Naked soldier resting against a wall past the High Wall of Lothric Bonfire. Will aggro upon hearing the closest Hollow Soldier scream.
- Naked soldier praying on the roof past the second floor of the Tower on the Wall transforms into a Pus of Man.
- Robed soldier ambush near three Firebombs by a Crossbow Hollow Soldier past the bottom of the ladder of the above roof.
- Robed soldier ambush at the bottom of the ladder by the item above.
- Two Robed soldiers and two Naked soldiers ambush the player by the elevator shortcut up the stairs past the statue surrounded by Fire.
- Three Naked soldiers ambush the player by a Titanite Chunk down stairs past the Lothric Castle Bonfire.
- Two Naked soldiers that transform into Pus of Man found below the Dragon Barracks bridge on opposite corners.
- Six Robed soldiers and one Naked soldier inside the room filled with explosive barrels to the right of the gate guarded by Lothric Wyverns.
- Two Naked soldiers lying against trees along the left wall.

Moveset
- Right-to-Left Combo: Swings their sword right-to-left, followed by a slow left-to-right, and finished by a two-handed overhead slam.
- Left-to-Right Combo: Swings their sword left-to-right, and finished by a two-handed overhead slam.
- Quick Barrage: Flails around, swinging their sword six times.
- Running Swing: Runs a short distance before a single right-to-left swing.
- Pus of Man: Transforms into a Pus of Man, damaging the area around them.
- Only select naked soldiers transform into Pus of Man.
Notes
- Hollow enemy, meaning they take 20% bonus damage from Hollowslayer Greatsword.
- Susceptible to both Alluring Skulls and Rapport.
- Killing them before they transform will not grant you the Pus of Man drops.
Bugs
- If a Pus of Man is killed (but not the soldier that spawns it) and the area is reloaded, the soldier that transforms into it will reappear. However, upon attempting to transform, they disappear and no Pus of Man appears.
