Location
- #1 is past the Farron Keep Bonfire, atop a staircase marked by a fire.
- #2 is past the Farron Keep Bonfire, atop another staircase marked by a fire reached when hugging the left wall and past the first flame.
- #3 is past the Keep Ruins Bonfire, far to the right past the door to the Farron Mausoleum, once again atop a staircase marked by a fire.
- For further detail, the staircase marked by fire can be found by an Elder Ghru seen far ahead at the bottom of the ladder below the Old Wolf of Farron Bonfire.
Usage
All three flames must be extinguished in order to open the door to the Farron Mausoleum, where the Abyss Watchers reside.
Notes
- Snuffing out the flames will depict the change when seen from other areas, such as in the Undead Settlement below the Foot of the High Wall Bonfire.
- However, from the overlook in front of the Vordt of the Boreal Valley Bonfire, the flames will be shown lit regardless of being snuffed out.
- Each flame has carvings depicting three of the Lord Souls from the first Dark Souls, The Witch of Izalith, Gravelord Nito, and The Four Kings,
- An unused flame exists in the files as well as in Concept Art, depicting Seath the Scaleless.
- Evidence of this unused flame may be seen in-game below the Foot of the High Wall Bonfire. A fourth flame is visible beneath the broken bridge.
