Host of Embers

In Dark Souls III, the player can become a Host of Embers, which acts similarly to human form from previous installments.

In order to become a Host of Embers, the player must acquire an Ember and use it to become embered.

Effects

• Increases Max HP by 30%
  • Restores HP to this new max
• Grants the ability to summon NPCs and other players
• Grants NPCs and other players the ability to invade you
• Grants a visual effect of embers on the character

Notes

• As a phantom in another player's world, your Max HP will return to its normal value.
• Slave Knight Gael in Ashes of Ariandel may be summoned and NPC invaders in The Ringed City DLC may invade the player character without being embered.
