A gem of infused titanite.
Slurped by Irithyll slaves.Used in infusion to create lacerating weapons.
Such weapons inflict lacerating damage.
Most effective with sharp or spiked weapons.
Effect
Can be used to Infuse Weapons/Shields, adding Bleed damage, but reducing Strength and Dexterity Scaling. Also reduces base damage.

- In the Painted World of Ariandel, at the bottom floor of the room filled with Giant Flies at the end of the path past the Snowy Mountain Pass and below Ariandel Chapel.
Notes
- Blacksmith Andre requires the Profaned Coal in order to Infuse Weapons/Shields with Blood Gems.
- Blood Weapons may not have Weapon Buffs applied.
