Tool	Effect	Availability
Black Separation Crystal	Sends friendly phantoms back to their world, or the player to his or her world.	Automatically received at the start of the game.
Dried Finger	Increases the Phantom Limit. Removes Invasion Cooldown.	Can be bought from the Shrine Handmaid for 2,000 Souls.
Ember	Become Host of Embers, increasing Maximum HP by 30% and enabling interactions with Phantoms.	Various areas. See the item page for details.
Seed of a Giant Tree	Makes Enemies hostile towards Invaders during Invasion.	In Firelink Shrine, rarely from the Giant Tree after Invasion.
Way of White Circlet	Can be used to reduce the penalty received for disconnecting from multiplayer sessions.	Automatically received at the start of the game.

Red Sign Soapstone	Places a red summon sign on the ground.	Dropped from the non-hostile Man-grub outside of Rosaria's Bed Chamber in the Cathedral of the Deep.
White Sign Soapstone	Places a Soul Sign on the ground for Co-op.	Can be bought from the Shrine Handmaid for 500 Souls.

Black Eye Orb	Used to Invade Ringfinger Leonhard.	In Cathedral of the Deep, on Rosaria's corpse during Ringfinger Leonhard's questline.
Cracked Red Eye Orb	Used to Invade other worlds.	Starting Burial Gift. Received from Ringfinger Leonhard as a gift. Dropped from Darkwraiths.
Red Eye Orb	Used to Invade other worlds.	Reward for defeating the Darkwraith in High Wall of Lothric.
