Lore

Before the Ringed Inner Wall bonfire, a White-faced Locust preacher tells of a wayfaring knight's endless forbidden search and how the abyss granted him closure, if not reunion with his beloved.

Inside a garden you may encounter Alva as a dark spirit, but without recollection of his name (not unlike Amnesiac Lapp and the Moaning Knight). Yet he still has a sense of purpose, guarding a corpse containing Zullie's Black Witch Set.
