The Estus Flask is a recovery tool that restores some HP when used. It refills when resting at a bonfire. The number of charges can be increased with Estus Shards and the HP recovery can be improved by burning Undead Bone Shards.

The Undead treasure these dull green flasks.
Fill with estus at bonfires, and drink to restore HP.
The journey of an Undead has always traced the bonfires, and no journey of import has been made without an Estus Flask.
Effect
Restores some HP.
The number of uses can be increased by giving Estus Shards to Blacksmith Andre. The strength of healing can be increased by burning Undead Bone Shards in the Firelink Shrine bonfire.
The number of Estus Flasks is related to the number of Ashen Estus Flasks. Blacksmith Andre can modify the ratio of the two Estus Flask types.

- Initially the Estus Flask has three charges.
- The maximum number of charges is 15.
- The Estus Ring increases HP restored by 20%.
- Killing enemies randomly gives free refills. Certain unique enemies always give free refills.
- The number of charges is halved (rounded down) while invading or being summoned.
