An Estus Shard is used by Blacksmith Andre to increase the Estus Flask charges.
Lore
A shard soaked in Estus.
Give to the blacksmith at the shrine to increase usages of the Estus Flask.
In the old days, it was rare to see an Estus Flask far from its owner, but this shard offers hope, however shattered.
Effect
Can be given to Blacksmith Andre to increase the Estus Flask count.
Availability
Eleven Estus Shards can be found during a playthrough:
- In Firelink Shrine on the rafters, below the roof with the Nestling. May be reached with the Tower Key and dropping down the roof.
- In the High Wall of Lothric, on top of an anvil in the area filled with Large Hollow Soldiers and Starved Hounds below the Pus of Man past the Tower on the Wall.
- In the Undead Settlement, in front of the burning tree past the building ahead of the Undead Settlement Bonfire, guarded by a Cathedral Evangelist and several Peasant Hollows.
- On the Road of Sacrifices. From the Crucifixion Woods Bonfire, head down the path to the right of the building to the corner of the area with fire and two Lycanthropes.
- In the Cathedral of the Deep. From the Cleansing Chapel Bonfire, head outside of the building to the front of a gravestone, surrounded by four praying enemies.
- In Farron Keep. Head past the Farron Keep Bonfire and under the broken ramp to the side of a collapsed tower by a Rotten Slug.
- In Smouldering Lake's Demon Ruins. Go to the Old King's Antechamber Bonfire, and to the end of a hallway behind a Illusory Wall not covered in branches in the corner of the room.
- In Anor Londo. In the big room immediately preceding the Aldrich, Devourer of Gods, near the Deep Accursed, there is a chest on the left-hand side.
- In Irithyll Dungeon, dropped from a Mimic. Walk forward into the dungeon, take a right, and go all the way to the end. Open the gate which requires the Jailbreaker's Key. Drop down and enter the room on the right for the Mimic.
- In the Consumed King's Garden. Drop down onto the ledge halfway down the first elevator and head right to the end of the balcony.
- In Grand Archives, on the roof where the three Gertrude's Knights are encountered, at the opposite end of the stairs leading up to the roof.
